Summary
Based on the recommendations of the WHO Global
Strategy for Diet, Physical Activity and Health and on other initiatives
like the “Agita Mundo” Network, in June 2004 the preparatory Physical
Activity Expert Meeting in Magglingen, Switzerland, has agreed on the
creation of the European Network for the Promotion of Health-Enhancing
Physical Activity.
